Most Expensive Homes
I thought this would be a fun piece to share considering probably none of us will be able to realistically purchase ANY of these pricey pads in our lifetimes... It's always fun to look and these multi-million dollar homes are the world's most expensive. Touring the inside may be an all day event and if you have children, hide and seek may end up being won on their 18th birthday. With the median price of homes in Cuyahoga County and the Cleveland area being around $124,000 or so, it doesn't really seem so bad does it? Almost free! Want to start looking this weekend? =)

Saudi Prince Bandar Bin Sultan's Aspen ski lodge is listed for $135 million. It's a ranch on 95 acres.

There's a 64-room Istanbul waterfront mansion on sale for $100 million. (World's 5th most expensive.)

Donald Trump purchased his Palm Beach mansion three years ago for $41 million and refurbished it and placed it back on the market for $125 million! He also says he won't budge on price...

There's a $75 million dollar estate in the Hamptons and that price is considered by many to be a steal. (75 foot swimming pool, 60 acres, 14 gardens, and of course the guest house because the main house is just too small!)

How about a $130 million dollar palace in Surrey larger than Buckingham or Hampton Court palace. (if 103 rooms are enough for you.)

For a real bargain, look to South Africa's most expensive home. On sale for a modest $18 million.

How about a new definition of "century home" - There's a Romanian castle built in 1212 and once the home to Vlad the Impaler (the inspiration for Count Dracula) on sale for $140 million. (I don't know if I'd live there for $140 million.)

Still under construction, there's a Beverly Hills, (75,000 sqft.) villa listed at $165 million. (29 bedrooms and 40 bathrooms) I'm glad I don't have to clean all that...Imagine linen washing day! Of course they have 30 maids...

Cleveland's most expensive home is a 15,000 sqft. Bratenal home listed for $9.5 million. It's not listed with us and unfortunately there are no photos online to share with you. How's that for extensive marketing!?

There are currently 30 homes over $2 million listed in Cuyahoga County. None of which are linked to Count Dracula, (that I'm aware of.)

Thanks to Forbes.com for the photos and information above!
