Why Home Inspections Are Important

Whether you're a buyer looking to purchase a new home in Ohio or a seller looking to get the most money for your property and provide the best possible experience and ease for a potential buyer, having a home inspection may be the answer.

Buying a home in Ohio means possibly buying an older home in areas such as Lakewood, Cleveland Heights, Shaker Heights, Aurora, and Avon/Avon Lake to name a few. Even newer homes may not be void of flaws. Many home buyers opt to have a home professionally inspected by a certified home inspector on Ohio. You may not know as much about your home and its mechanicals as you think. Some buyers choose not to have one and know enough about homes to be confident while other buyers want the added peace of mind of having it inspected, either way, it's not a bad idea to take the extra step and learn as much as you can about your new home. If you are looking for a local certified home inspector, Call or email me anytime I'd be happy to help.

Selling your home in today's market means your i's and t's should be dotted and crossed. There's lots of competition in the market and buyers are able to be picky and selectively choose the right home and situation. Why not help this process with having your home pre-inspected? You can provide the inspection report during showings or give it to your Realtor to keep on file in case someone wants to see it. This is no guarantee that a buyer won't have it independently inspected on their own, but this way you're offering it and saying your home has been checked out! It shows you care and it can also help you find flaws and make repairs before or while your home is on the market. Getting a head start and making your home a desirable sell, may just help you get it sold! If you'd like to be in touch with a certfied local home inspector in your area of Ohio, Call or email us anytime
