What Today’s Home Buyer Wants

The needs and wants of the home buyer today differ from those of yesteryear. Today’s purchasers want higher tech homes and less energy waste and yet they want more and more space. How does all this add up and come together? More space and less waste. Energy efficiency is a huge demand and “green” homes are becoming more and more popular and in demand; homes that run on solar power and use less fuel to run them. Most buyers in today’s market, (60%) are prepared to spend more for a home if it has an oversized garage and about 40% are willing to do the same for a home that is cable ready or satellite equipped.
